Introduction to Plush Toy Making with artist Ruth Mikos
Learn to make your own felt plush toys!
In this six week class you will make a fish, a rain cloud, a cat, a dog, a monster, and a horse/unicorn.
You will learn to construct and hand sew your plush from scratch using felt.
While making your stuffies, you will learn simple hand sewing and pattern basics like: threading a needle and tying a knot; sewing a running stitch, a whip stitch, and a back stitch; tying off a finishing knot; what is a pattern and pining and cutting out patterns; and of course stuffing your creations!
This class meets for six sessions on Wednesdays beginning January 25, 2023.

You will learn to construct and hand sew your plush from scratch using felt.
While making your stuffies, you will learn simple hand sewing and pattern basics like: threading a needle and tying a knot; sewing a running stitch, a whip stitch, and a back stitch; tying off a finishing knot; what is a pattern and pining and cutting out patterns; and of course stuffing your creations!
This class meets for twelve sessions on Mondays beginning September 19* and ending December 12, 2022*.
*There is no class on Monday, November 21.
